Breathwork for Autonomic Regulation
Wellness Faculty

A guided series on using breathwork techniques to calm the nervous system, backed by clinical research.
This practical session from our Holistic Healing series teaches viewers a progressive breathwork protocol designed to regulate the autonomic nervous system. Drawing from yogic pranayama, Wim Hof methodology, and clinical respiratory therapy, the guided practice moves from simple awareness exercises to more advanced techniques.
Each technique is accompanied by an explanation of the underlying physiology — how specific breathing patterns activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reduce cortisol levels, and improve heart rate variability. Participants learn to recognize their own stress signals and apply targeted breathwork to shift their physiological state.
This session is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, with modifications offered at each level.
